Super Bowl halftime shows have had everything — flying pop stars, surprise reunions, and even dancing sharks. But this year? Kendrick Lamar took the stage and made it his own.
On Sunday, February 9, the 37-year-old Grammy winner took the stage at Caesars Superdome for the Super Bowl LIX halftime show. With the Kansas City Chiefs facing off against the Philadelphia Eagles, Lamar delivered a performance that had the entire stadium locked in.

The show kicked off with an introduction from Samuel L. Jackson before the “B****, Don’t Kill My Vibe” rapper opened with a snippet of an unreleased track. He then performed “Squabble Up,” the second track from his latest album GNX. From there, he transitioned into “HUMBLE,” a three-time Grammy-winning track from his 2017 album DAMN.
Lamar kept the set moving with “DNA.,” another track from DAMN. He then performed “Euphoria,” the first diss track he released against Drake in 2024, before shifting to “Man at the Garden” and “Peekaboo” from his latest album GNX.
Midway through the performance, Lamar introduced SZA, and the two performed “Luther,” a song from GNX that samples Marvin Gaye’s “If This World Were Mine.” They then followed up with “All the Stars” from the Black Panther soundtrack.
Lamar teased “Not Like Us,” his viral diss track that won five Grammy Awards, joking, “I want to perform their favorite song, but you know they love to sue.” He then delivered the full song, with some explicit lyrics — including references to Drake, 38 — censored or replaced.
