Anne Hathaway took her little one to the biggest NFL game of the year — marking a rare public outing with him.
On Sunday, February 9, the 42-year-old Oscar-winning actress attended the 2025 Super Bowl to watch the Philadelphia Eagles compete against the Kansas City Chiefs. Unsurprisingly, the Princess Diaries star is an Eagles fan, as her late grandfather, Joe McCauley, was a beloved Philadelphia radio host.

The Les Misérables actress was featured on the jumbotron at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, with her 5-year-old son Jack in her lap, as seen in a video posted on Instagram. In the short clip, Hathaway and her son — who donned Eagles colors and gear — smiled and waved when they realized they were on the screen. Jack even stood up, seemingly excited by the moment.
The Golden Globe Award winner was also seen grinning and doing the Eagles chant during the game in a now-viral clip circulating X (formerly Twitter).
Besides, Jack, The Devil Wears Prada actress shares son Jonathan, 8, with husband Adam Shulman. The couple, who wed in 2012, keep their two sons primarily out of the spotlight.
Hathaway most recently commented on her private life with her family in an interview with NET-A-PORTER in November 2023.
“My family has needs, and one of the needs of children is that they need to be able to define their own lives,” the Ella Enchanted star explained. “It doesn’t even occur to me to link the two up, except through gratitude that they serve each other so beautifully. But they serve each other through me, and not through a space that’s outside of myself.”
Many other celebrities were in New Orleans cheering on the Eagles at the Super Bowl LIX, including Bradley Cooper, who introduced the team for their stadium entrance. Like Hathaway, Cooper, 50, brought his child — 7-year-old daughter, Lea Cooper — along with him. The A Star is Born actor shares Lea with his ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk.
