Victoria Triece, a mother from Florida, was banned by her children’s school in 2021 from attending an event at the school for having an account on the adult content sharing platform, OnlyFans. She had sued the school in Florida’s Orange County arguing that the ban was unjust. However, four later, a judge ruled that the Orange County Public Schools had the authority to ban the Triece.
Triece, who was volunteering with the Sand Lake Elementary School’s ADDitions program, had been volunteering to organise class parties and helping students with their assignments. She had been in the role for five years before the school authorities got to know from a tipster that Triece is active on OnlyFans. The school then banned her from attending the events.
Judge Brian Sandor, who delivered the verdict in the case, said that the school district had the right to terminate Triece’s employment. The 22-judgement said that the school policies regarding volunteering did not include any language that confers any right or benefit upon an individual to participate in the program, to remain in the program, or to appeal a removal decision.”
Back in 2021, Triece had made headlines for speaking out against the school district and suing them for violating her rights to volunteer and her right to appeal the ban decision.
“It’s just not fair at all,” Triece had said in a press conference in 2023. “I don’t want another mom, I don’t want another dad, I don’t want anybody to have to deal with not seeing their child when you aren’t hurting anybody.”
