10 Celebs Who Brought Their Kids To The Red Carpet

Finding the perfect date to an event can be difficult, but these celebrities found the best possible plus ones to their black tie functions — their kids.

The 2025 Grammys saw several stars accompanied by their children, but they certainly didn’t start this trend. Below are some of the proud parents who have showed off their families on the red carpet. Some of those celebrity kids have even gone on to become stars in their own right.

Beyonce and Jay-Z

Queen Bey and Jay-Z brought their eldest daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, to the Grammys in 2025, and the Mufasa actress was by her mom’s side when she finally won the coveted Album of the Year award. Blue, born 2012, was true to her name in a cobalt-colored gown.

Shakira

Shakira, who won the Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album at the Grammys, was accompanied by her two sons, Milan and Sasha, who she shares with ex Gerard Pique. Milan, born 2013, and Sasha, born 2015, wore matching silver suits.

The “If I Ain’t Got You” singer brought her son Genesis, born 2014, as her date to the Grammys, and the proud mom snapped a picture with Shakira and her two boys as well.

As a mom of six, Angelina Jolie has made a habit of bringing her kids to the red carpet with her, and many of them have appeared in movies with her too. She brought her son, Knox, to the Governors Awards on November 17, 2024, and brought daughter Zahara to the 2025 Golden Globes.
