Brody Jenner is setting the record straight about his family dynamics and his financial situation.
Despite being part of the famous Kardashian-Jenner clan, Brody made it clear that he’s not living off a trust fund or private jets. In an interview with Bustle posted on Tuesday, February 4, the 41-year-old revealed that while he shares the same last name as his billionaire half-sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner, their bank accounts aren’t connected.
“Kendall and Kylie are my sisters. We have the same last name, but we don’t share a bank account,” the reality star shared. “I don’t get to go on the pink jet, though I would love to,” he admitted, referencing his sister Kylie’s extravagant $73 million private jet.
The Hills alum also rejected the stereotype that he’s been living off family wealth. “It’s funny that people think that, because, first off, my dad never gave any child support,” Brody explained, clarifying that he never received financial help from Caitlyn Jenner, his father. ” It wasn’t like we were getting any money from the Kardashians ever.”

In fact, according to Bustle, Brody’s mother, Linda Thompson, chose to forgo child support all together during her divorce from Caitlyn and instead negotiated a lump sum –– which reportedly amounted to millions of dollars.
Caitlyn was married to Thompson from 1981 to 1986 and share two sons, Brody and Brandon Jenner, 43. Their divorce led to the Olympian eventually marrying Kris Jenner in 1991. Caitlyn, 75, and Kris, 69, blended their families, with Caitlyn becoming stepfather to Kris’ four children from her previous marriage to Robert Kardashian: Kourtney, 45, Kim, 44, Khloé, 40, and Rob Kardashian, 37.

Together, Caitlyn and Kris share two daughters, Kendall, 29, and Kylie, 27. Additionally, the author has two older children from a previous relationship — Burt Jenner, 46, and Cassandra Marino, 43, with her first wife, Chrystie Crownover, whom she was married to from 1972 to 1981.
