On Saturday night, Taylor Swift enjoyed dinner in New Orleans ahead of Travis Kelce’s Super Bowl Sunday. The Eras Tour singer was joined by the Haim sisters at Gianna restaurant, and she arrived wearing a black Charlotte Simone coat with a huge fluffy white collar and cuffs over an all-black look. Over one arm, the singer carried a black Dior handbag. On her feet were a pair of black high-heeled boots. A video shared by fans showed them walking through the eatery.
Swift was also seen out on Friday, accompanied by Kelce to the French restaurant Lilette. They were both joined by friends Patrick and Brittany Mahomes. To that dinner, Swift wore the Simkhai Joy Lace Mock Neck minidress with a pair of Eleonor Booties by Larroudé. She was carrying a Gucci shoulder bag, and wore hoops and a necklace from Three Stories Jewelry.
This is Swift’s second Super Bowl with Travis Kelce, who is going for his team’s third consecutive title. Last year’s Super Bowl was held in Las Vegas, and Swift brought several friends to watch the game with her, including Ice Spice, Ashley Avignone, and Blake Lively.
A source told Page Six in December that after her massive world tour came to a close, Swift began looking around for property in closer proximity to Kelce’s Kansas City home base.
“It looks like this may be Taylor’s domestic era,” said the insider. “It also looks like Taylor is going to make Nashville more of a home base than LA or NY since it’s closer to Kansas City, and her mom, Andrea, loves [Nashville] too.”
“Taylor and Travis live fairly nomadic lives, and Taylor has home bases everywhere, but they live everywhere together,” the source explained.
It has also been new and fun for Swift to meet and befriend the NFL family.
“Taylor is really embracing WAG life,” the insider shared. “I think she’s adapted so well to WAG life because she truly understands what it’s like to be part of a team—especially coming off Eras where she formed such a close connection with her band, dancers, singers and crew…She appreciates that sort of camaraderie and collaboration, that kind of chosen family. She fully gets and respects those bonds and why they need to be supported.”
But Swift is still planning to make new music.
“She can’t stop,” said the source. “The idea of your work family becoming your friend group is a natural for her—she has always befriended the people she works with, from Jack Antonoff to the Haim sisters to Ed Sheeran.”
