Much like last year, Taylor Swift didn’t come to the Super Bowl to see her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, play without a few friends. Swift was seen arriving with Ice Spice and Ashley Avignone, who attended the game with her last year. Two of the Haim sisters are also with her in New Orleans.
Ice Spice, Swift, and Avignone were photographed sitting in the stands together.
The night before the game, Swift went out with Danielle and Alana Haim, hinting they would be among her entourage. This crew is different from the 2024 Super Bowl, where Swift brought Blake Lively, Ice Spice, and Ashley Avignone.
Swift has never sought out attention during her partner’s games. In December 2023, she told Time, “I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in. There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once.”
She added, “I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”
Swift also spoke more generally about being out in public: “Over the years, I’ve learned I don’t have the time or bandwidth to get pressed about things that don’t matter,” she said. “Yes, if I go out to dinner, there’s going to be a whole chaotic situation outside the restaurant. But I still want to go to dinner with my friends.”
“Life is short,” she added. “Have adventures. Me locking myself away in my house for a lot of years—I’ll never get that time back. I’m more trusting now than I was six years ago.”
